100 Year Celebration

This was my first scout camp in Norway represented as a scout of Sri Lanka. I met different age scouts around bronnoysund city, at the camp we were spent our time singing,playing and cooking with each other. we had a holy mass,carnival, and especially we celebrated 100 years of Scouting in Norway KFUK-KFUM.

The first day I slept with the scouts in the tent it was real experience for me because of the out side was very cold that time climate was 5 or 7 Celsius. During the camp time I am organized a obstacle hike for them and I taught  marching and some scouts commands.

I got an opportunity to climb a one of the famous mountain in Bronnysund. I went with my two friends in Bronnysund one is Stefan he is the Rover scout leader in here and other friend name is Ovar he is the husband of gry. It was a nice experience I felt I am in Hortain Plance it's the place of in Sri Lanka up country in Nuwara Eliya District because of the same weather and environment.   

We spent to reach the top of mountain 1.15 hours and we spent to do down 40 minutes.

Exchange Programme

This exchange programme was organized by the Y-Global of Norway (KFUM-KFUK),

An excellent opportunity given for youth’s from different countries to develop their skills. 

The participants were from different countries ie.,

Norway     -  Lisa, Linn, Paniela, Linda, Kathinka, Magnus,

Palastine    -  Shatha and Nadin,
